Kids Adventure runs three holidays for children from disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds from the ages of 7 to 11. These are non-residential for the children, and run at Easter and in the summer holidays. For 3 years READ International have worked to redistribute educational resources from UK secondary schools to schools in Tanzania, currently ranked the world's 4th poorest country and have sent a total of 336,000 textbooks since 2005. We currently have 17 Book Projects operating across the UK and aim to send a further 315,000 textbooks to Tanzania in August 2009. -
