What it's all about

I am hoping to run and hold a TAG rugby tournamnet at the University of Derby involving local primary schools. I am hoping to get between 10 and 12 schools involved, using "Rugby Ready" and Level 1 coaches to run a series of sessions over 6 weeks culminating in a tournament on the university astroturf.

    This sounds fantastic. Have you managed to get any schools on board yet? You never know if this is a success, it could be run as an annual tournament to engage local schools with the university.

    As you are a student at Derby University, you can access up to £750 to help turn your idea into reality. Derby is one of 12 universities who are taking part in the scheme where you can access funding, training and support from your Volunteer Support Officer (Jo) to help you get your project up and running.
