What it's all about

Painting walls and ceiling of main hall and dining area as well as touching up skittles alley. Students' will contribute artwork on canvases to hang in the main hall so as to brighten up the place. Hopefuly the final result will give the community centre a new fresh look.

What's needed to make it a reality

Paintbrushes, rollers, paint, canvases, refreshments, transport, cleaning materials, step-ladders, protective gear.

    Because you are a student at UWE you can access up to £750 to turn your idea into a reality. UWE is one of 15 Universities who are taking part in the scheme where you can access funding, training and support from your Junction49 staff member (Jo) to help you get your project up and running.

    Kieran at Liverpool John Moores University is currently looking to set up a project refurbishing and restore a youth club in Liverpool. He's looking for some advice from people who have done something similar before so was wondering if you had any pearls of wisdom which you might be able to pass onto him to help get the project up and running.
